Hotdog Temperature Alarm Keeps your Precious Pooch Safe from Overheating

Every year dogs die because people leave them in cars.  Dogs don't sweat, so the only means that they have to cool themselves down is panting.  That only gets them so far.  The Hotdog is a clever little vehicle gadget that functions as an alarm for when the temperature in your motor vehicle becomes dangerously hot.

If the car goes over a preset temperature, the Hotdog kicks in.  It will open two windows and start honking your horn and flashing your lights.  It will also page you if you set it to do so.  All in all, it is a pretty good gadget for dog owners that frequently travel with pets.

Pawwws Pet Treadmills, a Much Better Idea than they Sound

On the surface, the Pawwws pet treadmill looks like a convenient device or lazy dog owners. While it will most certainly satisfy those, I think that it does serve a very good purpose. There are people that own pets in locations where they cannot easily be taken outside. While one might argue that it is cruel to keep pets in such conditions, pets are kept in such conditions and at least this way they can get some exercise.

The Pawwws Pet Treadmills also make things a little bit easier for people with disabilities that cannot easily walk their canine and those that have dogs that they simply cannot keep up with. The prices are not exactly cheap, but they are reasonable considering what they do. The 42-inch model will set you back about $700, while the 60-inch model is approximately $900. Just in case you had any fantasies about training your greyhound at home, these things do top out at about 8mph, so are not really fast enough for racing breeds. Still, if you need a day or two off from walking your animals, this is a way to get one.
